Greetings from Fresh Start Farms!

Welcome to the first week of the Fall FarmShare! We’re so excited you’ve joined us this season. 
 
Twenty-three new American farmers make up Fresh Start Farms. The farmers represent 7 different countries, speak 13 different languages and grow over 50 varieties of produce. Meet the farmers here! The end of August is when fields are full of all sorts of delicious veggies. This week you’ll see peppers, tomatoes, eggplant, carrots, summer squash, bok choy, and more. Plus, keep your eye out for crops from the farmers’ home countries like amaranth greens, lauki squash, and African eggplant!
 
On Mondays, you’ll receive your FarmShare customization email at 3pm. You’ll have until 2pm on Tuesday to make changes and add extras to your share. If you have any questions, please reach out!
 
This week we have a sale on Ben’s Sugar Shack Raw Honey! This all-natural, raw and unprocessed wildflower honey from NH is normally $8 but is on sale for the first week of the share for just $5! We also have 2 new kinds of cheese that are perfect with tomato and basil creations – MapleBrook Farm’s Buratta and Narragansett Creamery’s Ricotta.

Prior to your first delivery, please visit your dashboard to set your preferences and delivery instructions (for home delivery), and make sure to sign up for your add-on shares like fruit, bread, mushrooms, corn and more!

Please note that sometimes the Harvie system has a glitch and adds an additional delivery fee when you sign up for an add-on share. If this happens, please email us and we will get it updated.

Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays 9am to 5pm
It is very important that you update your delivery instructions on your Harvie Profile page so we get the food to the right place. Be sure to leave a cooler out for the delivery driver.

Bona Fide Green Goods Pick Up
Wednesdays 3pm to 6pm

Give the Bona Fide staff your name and they’ll get your box for you.

St. Paul’s School Employee Pick Up
Wednesdays 2pm to 4pm
SPS Post Office 
Any milk, meat, or frozen products will be in the fridge.

Story Hill Farm in Dunbarton
Wednesdays 4:30pm to 6pm
5 Story Hill Road, Dunbarton
There is a blue tiny house on the farm that we use as a Self-Service Farm Stand. Your box will be in the house labeled with your name. Any milk, meat, or frozen products will be in a cooler which you will need to grab.

YMCA of Greater Nashua 
Friday 3:30pm to 5:30pm
24 Stadium Drive, Nashua
There will be a volunteer there to help you find your box. Any milk, meat, or frozen products will be in a cooler. 

We will not hold missed pick ups. We will donate any unclaimed shares to our local food pantries.

Not your typical veggie burger, Dunk’s Vegan Mushroom patties are 83% mushroom (Oyster and Shiitake) and are fully cooked ready to heat on your grill, stove, oven or microwave. 

Also, try out Dunk’s Gourmet Mushroom Pot Pies made with shiitake mushrooms. Made from scratch in-house, using local ingredients whenever possible these pot pies use mushrooms in place of meat and are sure to make a delicious and quick meal this week!
