It is week 7 of the Spring FarmShare and new crops are starting to come into season! Fiddleheads have arrived! The season is so short, so be sure to get some this week. Plus, more organic baby bok choy and greenhouse tomatoes are available this week. Plus, Fresh Start Farmer Asli has spring mix and arugula ready to harvest at her greenhouse! New items include a heritage Autumn Explosion Cornmeal grown and ground at Tuckaway Farm in Lee, NH, and Hunca Munca cheese from Bell & Goose Cheese. Plus, a restock on all Valicenti Pasta and Ravioli

Mobile Market Kicks off on May 14th!

Come join us for the kick off of Fresh Start’s Mobile Market season at the Art & Plant Extravaganza event on May 14th at Brown & Mitchell Park in Manchester! Enjoy a pop up gallery, live performances, community resource tables and of course delicious fresh veggies, fruits, snacks and more from the Mobile Market!

What’s the Mobile Market? Its a farm stand on wheels that delivers fresh food directly to neighborhoods. It serves as a link between local farmers and communities with limited access to fresh and healthy food. All summer long, the market will be bringing food to community sites throughout Manchester, Nashua, and Concord each week. Check out the full schedule here

Plus, the Fresh Start Market will be open on the 14th from 11am to 1pm in coordination with NeighborWork’s Wellness Day. Stop on in at 150 Spruce Street in Manchester for more delicious food!

There will be a volunteer there to help you find your box. Any milk, meat, or frozen products will be in a cooler. 

Bona Fide Green Goods Pick Up
Wednesdays 3pm to 6pm

Give the Bona Fide staff your name and they’ll get your box for you.

St. Paul’s School Employee Pick Up
Wednesdays 2pm to 4pm
SPS Post Office 
Any milk, meat, or frozen products will be in the fridge.

Fresh Start Food Hub Pick Up
Wednesdays OR Thursdays 2pm to 6pm

You can pick up your share either day. No need to notify us, just come on by!

We will not hold missed pick-ups. We will donate any unclaimed shares to our local food pantries.

Autumn Explosion Cornmeal

Beautiful deep-colored cornmeal, from Tuckaway Farm, perfect for making cornbread, pancakes, muffins, and waffles.

Tuckaway Farm is an organic farm in Lee, NH and they grow and mill heritage corn varieties to create this incredible cornmeal. The corn is roasted before milling to enhance flavor and aroma. Tuckaway Farm was recently awarded a value-added product grant that will allow them to scale up their mill to make more grain products. Look forward to more grains coming soon!
