August is here and it's Eat Local Month!

Here in the Granite State we have the option to eat local 24/7, 365…but August officially marks Eat Local Month and in honor of that the NH Food Alliance is hosting a “…month-long celebration of food that is grown, caught, and produced in New Hampshire. From August 1-31, the NH Food Alliance and its NH Eats Local Month Partners connect Granite Staters directly to the farmers, fishers, restaurants, food producers, markets and farm stands, co-ops and grocery stores, and other food-related businesses to rally around the bounty of our vibrant food system.” Visit the NH Food Alliance Website, found here, to find out how you can join in on the challenge!
