Happy Labor Day Weekend! This Monday we celebrate the contributions and achievements of all workers and particularly our local farmers and agricultural producers who keep us fed with fresh, local, and nutritious food.

Holiday Schedule Changes

 In order for farmers and staff to observe the holiday, you will be receiving your FarmShare customization email this afternoonYou will have until Monday at midnight to make changes to your share. Deliveries and pickups will operate on the normal schedule. This week, you may see some substitutions in your FarmShare since the amounts of crops available were estimated today and might be off a bit by the harvest next week. We appreciate your flexibility and understanding!

Join the Fall FarmShare

The Fall FarmShare starts immediately following the summer share, so you won’t miss a week of fresh, local food. Starting the week of October 9th and ending the week of Thanksgiving, this share is perfect for enjoying the end of season staples as well as storage crops and roasting vegetables that you can keep into the winter months. 

 We hope you’ll join us into the fall to enjoy more fresh, healthy, and local food with a mission!

You can pick up your share either day. No need to notify us, just come on by! We will not hold missed pick-ups. We will donate any unclaimed shares to our local food pantries.

Cheesy Zucchini Chicken and Rice bake

Nothing is better (or easier) than this Cheesy Zucchini Chicken and Rice Bake…with crispy, crunchy cheddar on top. Made using healthy vegetables and herbs, this bake is so darn easy, and so darn delicious. And the best part? It’s made entirely in one pot and in under an hour. Grab some chicken, rice, orzo pasta, plenty of herbs, and all that summer zucchini you can find. Just cook everything together on the stove. Add creamy Havarti and sharp cheddar cheese, a sprinkle of everything spice. Then finish it off under the broiler to melt the cheese and get it crispy and crunchy. Simple, but SO GOOD.
