Hari's FlowerShare!

Did you know that Fresh Start Farmer Harimaya grows beautiful flowers and sells them throughout the summer? She needs your help to be able to make this possible: if you pick-up your FarmShare at any one of our pick-up sites, then you are eligible to sign up for her flower share! (We are sorry that home delivery is not currently an option).

During this 9-week share from July 16th – September 16th, you’ll get a gorgeous, unique arrangement of fresh-picked flowers from Hari’s plot in Boscawen. Look forward to zinnias, sunflowers, cosmos, amaranth, celosia, dahlias, ranunculus, snapdragons, lilies, strawflowers, marigolds, and more! Bring the beauty of the flower garden home!

Crust & Crumb Bread this Week!

We will be ordering bread from the Crust & Crumb Bakery in Concord this week! It will be available *ONCE* each month during the Summer FarmShare, so make sure to keep an eye out for when it is available. This week’s flavors are: Honey Oat, Basil Pesto, and Citrus Wheatberry!

*Important Update Regarding Local Fruit*

As many of you may have already heard, NH’s fruit crop–especially stone fruits–are largely wiped out due to the sub zero temperatures in February, followed by the frost in mid-May which damaged fruits’ blossoms. This is a huge blow to New Hampshire and New England farm ecosystems!  That being said, there will be even less fruit available in your FarmShares this season. We are equally saddened by this news and will do our best to get fruit when it is available. We thank you for your understanding and hope that NE farmers and the ecosystem are able to recover. Read more about this phenomenon in the Concord Monitor
