If you're new here, Welcome!

Fresh Start Farms is a collective brand for immigrant and refugee farmers growing food in central NH through a program of the Organization for Refugee and Immigrant Success (ORIS). Forty-eight farmers grow on 22 acres across 5 farm sites in Concord, Dunbarton, Boscawen, and Chichester. Twenty-seven farmers participate in markets and 21 are community gardeners and grow only for themselves and family. Meet your farmers here.

In 2020 Fresh Start Farms opened the Food Hub in Manchester. In addition to the FarmShare, a number of programs operate out of the Hub and you’ll hear more about each of them throughout the season.

Mobile Market – a farm stand on wheels that delivers fresh food directly to neighborhoods that need it! Check out the season’s schedule here.

Fresh Start Market – located in Manchester the market serves as an access point for healthy food in the Center City neighborhood. Plus, it’s Manchester’s only Double Up Food Bucks market which means that all fruits and veggies are half price for shoppers with SNAP/EBT.

Healthy Corners – together with the Manchester Health Department, this initiative is bringing fresh fruits and vegetables to corner and convenient stores throughout the city to strengthen and expand food access.

Farm to School –  “Farm Fresh Fridays” pilot project has students help farmers and community gardeners start vegetables that will be grown, harvest, and processed into pizzas that the students will enjoy.
