Happy Labor Day!

It is hard to believe that September is already upon us! We are grateful for the opportunity to pause and reflect on Labor Day to appreciate all of the hard work that goes into producing healthy food and making it accessible to our communities. Most of all we are grateful for Mother Earth, for our members, and for cooler temperatures! 

September brings a multitude of fresh produce, including sweet peppers, delicata, butternut, spaghetti, and acorn squashes, carrots, and tomatoes!

*LABOR DAY SCHEDULE CHANGES*

Monday Members: There will be no FarmShare delivery on Monday, September 5th. Your share will instead be delivered on Wednesday, September 7th. You’re receiving your customization email today and you will have until Sunday at midnight to make swaps and additions.

Wednesday Members: You are receiving your share as normal on Wednesday, September 7th. You are however receiving your customization email today, and you will have until Sunday at midnight to make swaps and additions.

During the holiday week, you may see some substitutions in your FarmShare since the amounts of crops available will be estimated on Friday and might be off a bit by the harvest on Tuesday. We appreciate your flexibility and understanding!

Fresh Start Farms & NOFA CRAFT Tour

On September 8th, join the Fresh Start Farms team on the Concord farm from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm for a tour of the farm and working, hosted by NOFA-NH. Learn about our program and about the unique ethnic varieties of plants the farmers are growing including how they are grown and how to save seeds for continued cultivation.

Tours are free for farmers, farm workers, and NOFA members. Pricing for all others is on a sliding scale from $5-15. Visit www.nofanh.org/craft to learn more and register. We hope you’ll join us!

There will be a volunteer there to help you find your box. Any milk, meat, or frozen products will be in a cooler. 

Bona Fide Green Goods Pick Up
Wednesdays 3pm to 6pm

Give the Bona Fide staff your name and they’ll get your box for you.

St. Paul’s School Employee Pick Up
Wednesdays 2pm to 4pm
SPS Post Office 
Any milk, meat, or frozen products will be in the fridge.

Fresh Start Food Hub Pick Up
Wednesdays OR Thursdays 2pm to 6pm

You can pick up your share either day. No need to notify us, just come on by!

We will not hold missed pick-ups. We will donate any unclaimed shares to our local food pantries.
