Greetings from Fresh Start Farms!
Fresh Start Farms has a new website! We hope you’ll explore the new site and don’t forget to check out the new recipe section to get some inspiration on what to do with your FarmShare veggies.
A note on the upcoming 4th of July holiday: For Wed & Thur delivery/pick up members, we will be sending out customization emails for your shares on Friday, July 2nd. You will have until the normal time (Tuesday at 2pm) to customize your share. Delivery and pick up will remain as normally scheduled. Thank you for your flexibility so that staff and farmers can take some time to observe the holiday.
The Fresh Start Farmers have been very busy on their farms this week planting, weeding, harvesting and selling their vegetables at farmers markets around the state!

Important Member Info
Please return your insulated liners & boxes!
We are starting to use insulated liners to keep your food cool in your shares to make sure your veggies are at the highest quality when you receive them. We want to make sure to limit any waste and packaging (and each of these liners costs $3) so please make sure to leave the silver insulated liner at your pick-up site or return it to your site/delivery driver. Please return any boxes as well. Thank you!

Ground Up Grain, located in Holyoke MA, stone mills their flours using 100% locally sourced grains. Their All Purpose Flour is made with locally grown hard red and soft white wheat.
Each 5lb bag of flour directly supports 95 sq ft of Northeast farmland where grains serve as a cover crop, making our soil and water healthy and supporting a resilient food system.
Made with only three simple ingredients (corn, water, and lime) Mi Tierra‘s fresh-baked, local tortillas are some of the best tasting available. The organic and non-GMO corn is grown in small farms throughout western MA. The corn is produced using ancient nixtamal methods to form a maiz masa, or corn dough which is shaped into tortillas & baked.
